SQAd Participates in the NYC AIDS Walk

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, the Shubert Queer Alliance ERG (SQAd) joined over 10,000 participants on a 6-mile walk through Central Park at the 41st annual AIDS Walk New York. This event is one of the largest HIV/AIDS fundraisers in the world and helps support GMHC and the lifesaving services they provide to New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS. SQAd raised nearly $3,000 for this great cause and the event raised a total of $1.7 million.
 
Donning some very fashionable SQAd t-shirts, this year marked our first participation in AIDS Walk NY with a small, but mighty team!
