Greetings All, Heading into the holiday season marks the beginning of a joyful time, spent celebrating with friends and family. But for some of us it can also be a time of increased stress, anxiety, and depression, both in our personal and professional lives. That’s why it’s so important to make use of all the resources available to help our mental health. There are many outside resources available, including those of the Entertainment Community Fund (Formerly Actor’s Fund) but one resource within the company is the Employee Resource Group H.O.M.E (Honest Open Meaningful Engagement.) H.O.M.E. is not a substitution for therapy. This peer-to-peer group aims to reduce the stigma around mental health issues, host wellness and educational events, and provide a safe space for employees to discuss any hardships they are going through in a non- professional setting. H.O.M.E currently meets twice a month, both in person and on Zoom. They alternate Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 1 PM, and all Shubert employees who are interested are encouraged to take advantage of this resource. In Shubert’s ongoing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, mental health is something that should not be overlooked. For more information, reach out to the co-chairs Chanelle Cotton and Trevor Moppin at [email protected]. Sincerely, Charlie Flateman H.O.M.E. Executive Sponsor Comments are closed.
