Shubert Supports Glen Rock Pride with Drag Event

​On Friday, March 8, The Shubert Organization sponsored a drag show and fundraiser in Glen Rock, NJ to raise money for the borough’s annual LGBTQIA+ Pride celebration. The sold-out event at featured three drag performers, tons of food, merch for sale, and a raffle that included two tickets to The Outsiders at the Jacobs Theatre. The event was so popular with Glen Rock locals that the event needed to be moved to nearby All Saints’ Episcopal Church to handle the crowd. The raucous show included multi-talented performers Astala Vista, Zephyra Rivers, and Buttakup, plus a wild audience-member lip sync competition. Shubert got a big shout out at the event for supporting Glen Rock and for being a respected member of the community.
 
Glen Rock Pride will take place on Saturday, June 1, starting with a noon flag raising, followed by “Pride in the Park” from 1-4pm with speakers, music, art, vendors, food, and family fun.
